Maxonic maintains a close and long-term relationship with our direct client. In support of their needs, we are looking for a Mechatronics Engineer.

Job Description:


Job Title: Mechatronics Engineer

Job Type: Contract                                                    

Job Location: Hopkinton, MA

Work Schedule: On-site

Pay Rate: $36, Based on experience


Description:

  • The Mechatronics Engineer 1 will be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting integrated electromechanical systems.
  • This role requires a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering principles.
  • The position will involve travel between our Boston and Hopkinton sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and test mechatronic systems and components
  • Develop control systems and algorithms for automated equipment
  • Troubleshoot and maintain existing mechatronic systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions
  • Document designs, processes, and test results
  • Travel between the Boston and Hopkinton sites as needed

Skills:    

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related engineering field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechatronics Engineer
  • Proficiency in CAD software, PLC programming, and control system design
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
