Engineers may also face logistical challenges such as finding housing and building a new social network. To prepare, it's helpful to research the company's relocation assistance, connect with future colleagues before the move, and familiarize yourself with local engineering codes and practices. Proactive communication with HR and taking advantage of onboarding resources can ease the transition and set you up for success.
