Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op to learn the various areas of Mechanical Engineering within the Dematic Organization, and in support of customer projects.We offer:

What You Will Do in This Role:

  • Support Modernization and Upgrades on existing material handling systems.
  • Perform site audits to collect required data.
  • Support the installation of mechanical upgrades.
  • Provide detailed layouts and documentation for all modernization scopes.
  • Create Purchase Requests and Parts Order Entry
  • Drive activities related to ensuring new equipment is built to specification.
  • Provide technical support for Estimating, Sales, Engineering teams, and Field Operations
    .

What We are Looking For:

  • Candidates must be pursuing a 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Ability to learn to maintain and repair material handling systems
  • Knowledge of CAD design software including AutoCAD
  • Familiarization with Computer Systems and Technologies.
  • Ability to solve complex design issues and implement effective and cost-efficient solutions.
