Come work with multidisciplinary engineers focused on delivering world class Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) for the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program. You will be responsible for the designs solutions that support the Organization. As an Engineer, you will work with a diverse work force responsible for the development, design, fabrication, test, and delivery of MGSE.
Job responsibilities include:
- Develop mechanical design solutions of varying complexity using solid models, detailed drawings, and release of engineering work products.
- Review requirements for systems and ensure design aspects (stress, dynamics, systems, thermal, manufacturing, etc.) meet those requirements.
- Collaborate with peers, systems engineering, configuration management, manufacturing, etc. to ensure program requirements and schedules are met.
- Contribute to the completion of Program achievements by the release of accurate, error-free, affordable and producible engineering designs.
The ideal candidate will have experience with 3DCAD Modeling in PTC CREO or similar, mechanical drawing interpretation, experience problem solving mechanical and electromechanical systems, experience packaging electronic components, have good communications skills (both oral and written). Ability to obtain a DOD security clearance is required.
