Job description

Overview
Our Nashville, Tennessee (TN) office is looking for a CADWorx Designer with 6+ years of experience to join our Natural Gas team!
Responsibilities
  • Create and complete PFDs and P&IDs from verbal directions, written descriptions, and mark-ups provided
  • Apply fundamental piping principles, formulas, and industry practices to support design development and problem-solving.
  • Building 3D facilities models from P&IDs
  • Review and interpret reports, drawings, test data, applicable codes, and specifications to ensure design requirements are met.
  • Plan and execute production drawings for routine and moderately complex assignments, including design layout, analysis, and supporting calculations.
  • Develop and produce piping drawings using standard methods and techniques, including layout, sequencing, component sizing, and refinement of preliminary sketches.
  • Incorporate design changes, redlines, and markups on active projects while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure all deliverables comply with company, client, and project drafting standards and are completed within budget, scope, and schedule

Qualifications
  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred)
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in CADWorx
  • Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Willingness to mentor and teach others
  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter
