You'll work as part of a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team alongside
Program Managers, Industrial Designers, Systems Architects, and Electrical Engineers to turn innovative concepts into high-quality products.

What You'll Do

  • Design mechanical components, assemblies, mechanisms, and electro-mechanical systems using 3D CAD/SolidWorks.
  • Create and review engineering drawings, including GD&T, BOMs, and supporting documentation.
  • Design packaging for rigid and flexible electronic circuits and interconnections.
  • Perform structural, thermal, heat-transfer, and tolerance-stack analyses.
  • Develop prototypes, assemble and test systems, and use 3D printers and shop tools to evaluate designs.
  • Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to support both low- and high-volume production.
  • Work with molded and machined components across a variety of materials.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality, repeatable assembly, delivery, and manufacturing capacity.
  • Participate in design reviews, troubleshooting, fault finding, and sustaining engineering activities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional engineering and product development teams to rapidly iterate designs.
  • Support continuous improvement and engineering excellence initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 8-10 years of mechanical engineering experience in a product development environment.
  • Strong experience with SolidWorks or an equivalent 3D CAD platform, including drawings and PDM.
  • Experience designing molded and machined parts.
  • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience performing engineering calculations and analyzing test data using Excel, MATLAB, or similar tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative solutions to challenging mechanical problems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
  • A proactive, customer-focused, and "can-do" mindset.
