Job description

Overview
We are seeking a motivated Project Manager to join our Intsel Steel East business to support the Sales team in all phases of our steel deck business. The job is available on-site in New Castle, DE
Responsibilities
  • Manages projects from initial quote to final invoice.
  • Submit accurate deck and joist estimates to customers and sales.
  • Prepare RFIs and coordinate project details with all stakeholders (sales, production, customer, engineers, management).
  • Provide customer contact to maintain approval project workflow.
  • Generate and verify bill of materials for production.
  • Coordinate schedules with project site contact and internal traffic department.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interact with sub-contracted detailers.
  • Assist sales management with pricing and performance feedback.
  • Team with Outside Sales Rep to build a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Support the Quality System of the Company.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
  • Associate's degree from an accredited institution or 3-5 years of equivalent work experience with steel deck and bar joist projects.
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient level of computer skills in typing, number key, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Problem solving and creative thinking.
  • Prior deck and joist detailing and estimating experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of AUTO CAD & TEKLA
  • Excellent ability to read and interpret architectural and structural blueprints.
  • Proficient in estimating software.
