Position Summary

Parts Administrator - Fontana, CA

$25.00 - $28.00 hr | Weekly Pay | Full Benefits within 30 Days 

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leader in fleet maintenance across the U.S., is hiring a skilled Parts Administrator to join our team in Fontana, CA. Must have experience receiving and storing parts, performing yard checks, operating a forklift, shuttling vehicles, managing ROs and POs, and having experience with fleet management software and medium- to heavy-duty truck parts

What You'll Do

  • Customer interaction, 
  • receiving and storing parts and inventories
  • performing yard checks, operating a forklift, shuttling vehicles, 
  • managing ROs and POs
  • Order any parts needed for the shop, stock or parts for a specific unit.
  • Track any orders placed for specific units (Hot items) to ensure we know the whereabouts of said part.
  • Receive any invoices of parts that have physically shown up.
  • Of the parts received, the ones for specific units make sure the manager and/or tech get the part numbers on how it was received so it can be billed the same way.
  • Put away all parts and shop supplies into their designated spot in the warehouse.
  • Ensure all parts have a good billable label on them/on the bin that corresponds to how that part was received in the system, to ensure that the techs are billing the correct part number.
  • Clean and organize the warehouse
  • Check the PO Portal, ensuring we are receiving all invoices for parts we have physically received and disputing any invoices for parts we have not physically received.
  • Parts run if permitted

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience as a parts administrator. 
  • Strong Excel and Outlook Skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience operating a forklift
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Yard checks, shuttling vehicles, and receiving and storing parts and inventories

Working Conditions

This role involves working in a mobile, outside, and/or shop environment with exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical materials such as oils and greases. Technicians must be able to perform essential job functions that include frequent movement such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods, as well as lifting heavy objects and accessing tight or confined spaces. This position requires regular use of hands to grasp, reach, handle, and operate tools and equipment. Technicians may be required to work at heights using ladders or elevated platforms and must be able to safely perform duties in various weather conditions. Due to the active work environment and movement of large vehicles, the ability to see and hear sufficiently to safely navigate the workspace is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to support individuals with disabilities in performing essential job functions.
