Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform manufacturing maintenance, repair, and installation tasks of equipmen
  • Repair and maintain machinery, including mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Troubleshoot equipment breakdown problems
  • Inspect, test, and operate machinery and equipment prior to releasing to manufacturing
  • Work would include, but not be limited to, replacing electrical components, motors, installing belts, adjusting and aligning rollers, replacing defective parts
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair work on AC and DC motors and controls
  • Adhere to Larson's safety guidelines and reporting process
  • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read blueprints and machine control schematics
  • Ability to navigate via PLC operation sequence, I/O information, and instrumentation feedback is preferred
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems
  • Basic machining and welding skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a group
  • Ability to use professional use email and other computer programs (such as Microsoft Office)
  • Knowledge of computer maintenance management system (CMMS) is required
