Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Watertown, NY. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related components in a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and system diagnostics.

Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Repair or replace faulty parts and components, such as fuel systems, brakes, and electrical systems. Conduct inspections and tests to ensure vehicles and equipment are in proper working condition.

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications: 3 - 5 years of experience working as a diesel mechanic Cummins, Detroit, or International certification is nice to have, but not a requirement.

Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, with a strong understanding of diesel engine systems and components. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Benefits: Competitive pay rate of $25 - $40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
