Job description

The Richmond Behavioral Health Authority is seeking an energetic and dependable full-time Cook to support our kitchen at the Marshall Center. This individual will perform intermediate semiskilled work preparing and serving meals and maintaining the kitchen at the RBHA marshall Center, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the assigned Program Manager 

Essential Functions

Prepares and cooks meats, vegetables and other foods in accordance with menu.

Operates standard cooking equipment such as ranges, mixers, food choppers, deep fryers and refrigerators. Serves meals to individuals at the residential treatment center.

Cleans kitchen and equipment, washes dishes; performs general cleaning duties as needed.

Receives and stocks food supplies; maintains sanitary standards.

Makes periodic inspections of kitchen and dining area to observe quality of food service activities and the cleanliness and sanitation of serving areas and equipment and utensils.
