The team is known for its professionalism and commitment to quality, complemented by ongoing investments in new technology and infrastructure improvements.The role is physically demanding and requires proficiency across all stages of butchery, reflecting in a competitive wage reaching up to $30 per hour for experienced individuals able to quickly integrate into the workflow.**Core Responsibilities:** Execute full-cycle meat processing, encompassing humane stunning, detailed bleeding, skinning, methodical eviscerating, precise splitting, and comprehensive trimming. Adhere to all animal welfare standards in the treatment of livestock. Prepare and inspect carcasses to ensure compliance with quality standards, including washing and weighing. Maintain sharpness of tools and ensure proper functioning of processing equipment throughout shifts. Consistently uphold cleanliness and sanitation protocols across work areas, including walls and equipment. Rigorously apply HACCP guidelines and other mandatory food safety standards. Support ancillary barn duties as expertise develops, including livestock feeding and watering.
