Pay

Salary: $55,000-$65,000 annually depending on experience


Schedule

Monday- Friday. Length of day varies between the hours of 8am - 6pm

Full Time employees 40 hour schedule

Modified Full Time employees 32-36 hour schedule

Part Time Employees up to 28 hours a week schedule


Responsibilities

  • Serve as a field technician, traveling to residential or commercial sites to perform a comprehensive site assessment and precision measurements of square footage.
  • Conduct job site analysis to inspect subfloor conditions, moisture levels, and job-site layout challenges while providing accurate estimations for project planning.
  • Use digital Measure Square layout software and laser measures
  • Ensure our installation crews have everything they need for a flawless installation.
  • Prepare technical documentation by recording data accurately and uploading project specifications to the main office.
  • Utilize effective communication to answer client questions regarding the upcoming installation process and deliver high-quality customer service.
  • Supports sales and service staff by fielding questions and providing timely solutions with the customer and company’s best interests in mind.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Detail-oriented with strong basic math and construction estimating skills.
  • Technical proficiency with tablets, smartphones, and Windows/Google applications.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior industry experience in flooring installation or estimating preferred.


Education: Must be working towards or have a high school diploma or GED.


Physical Demands: Moderate physical demands required. Flooring Estimators are required to stand for prolonged periods of time. Flooring Estimators must often bend, stoop, and work on knees. Occasionally have to lift up to 50 pounds.


Other: Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
