What are MDUs?

MDU stands for Multi-Dwelling Unit, which refers to a building or complex that contains multiple separate housing units, such as apartments, condominiums, or townhomes. These properties are commonly managed by property management companies and often require specialized services, especially for utilities and telecommunications, due to the presence of multiple residents or tenants. MDUs present unique challenges and opportunities for service providers in areas like internet, cable, and maintenance because of their shared infrastructure and need for scalable solutions.
