Must Skill: Rockwell 500 experience is a must and must have done commissioning for controls

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to join our team as a consultant to assist with commissioning efforts. This role involves ensuring that all commissioning expectations are met with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Set motor protection parameters.

Configure VFD parameters.

Verify motor rotations.

Ensure belt tracking and MDR card settings are correct.

Verify field IO and ensure E-stop devices are installed per drawing.

Set and test MDR power supplies.

Power up panels and ensure all PLC and devices are communicating with assigned IP addresses.

Program CAN gateway and check MDR.

Complete all checks in the commissioning check sheet.

Assist the controls resources with commissioning tasks.

Perform HMI IO checks and base code functionality checks.

Manage material flow, traffic, jam, and merge logic.

Ensure E-stop code functionality and 3rd party/PLC interlocks are in place.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in Rockwell 5000.

Material Handling Equipment (MHE) experience.

HMI and PLC programming skills.
