About the Role

The Memory Care Director is the champion of Charter’s signature Flourish Memory Care Program, leading a vibrant and compassionate neighborhood rooted in dignity, engagement, and purpose.

You will oversee daily operations, team leadership, resident engagement, state compliance, and the continued development of Flourish standards—Restore, Enrich, Connect, Create, Engage, and Contribute.

This is a highly collaborative role working closely with community leadership to deliver meaningful programs, personalized service planning, and occupancy success.

What You Will Do
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of our Memory Care Neighborhood

  • Oversee Flourish Memory Care programming, compliance, and excellence

  • Train, mentor, and inspire staff to deliver purpose-driven care

  • Partner with leadership on service plans, engagement programs, and events

  • Support behavioral care strategies and dementia-focused education for staff and families

  • Build relationships with residents, families, and healthcare partners

  • Model compassion, professionalism, and respect for every resident’s story

You will directly supervise:
Memory Care Resident Care Associates (in partnership with the Health & Wellness Director) and Memory Care Coordinator/Program Assistants as applicable.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Certifications

  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred

  • Certifications such as CDP, CTRS, Activities Director Certification, or related credentials strongly preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years working with seniors, including 1+ year specializing in dementia care

  • 3–5 years leading dementia programs, coaching staff, and managing behavioral challenges

  • Proven experience delivering meaningful life enrichment and therapeutic programming
