Job Summary

The Ambulatory Care (AC) Value Management Analyst supports pricing and profitability initiatives across McKesson's Ambulatory Care business. This role partners with Sales, Pricing, Finance, and Operations teams to analyze customer opportunities, identify margin improvement strategies, and support data-driven business decisions. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large datasets to solve business problems and improve customer and business outcomes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer, sales, pricing, and profitability data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities across the Ambulatory Care business.
  • Support pricing strategy and customer agreement recommendations through data analysis and financial modeling.
  • Assist with customer requests, pricing reviews, and profitability improvement initiatives.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate key business insights to leadership and sales partners.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Contract Administration, and Operations teams to support customer negotiations and strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct competitive and market research to help inform pricing decisions and business strategy.
  • Monitor pricing performance, margin trends, and key business metrics, highlighting opportunities for improvement.
  • Support process improvement and automation efforts using tools such as Google Sheets, Looker Studio, and other analytics platforms.
  • Help manage cross-functional projects by tracking deliverables, timelines, and business outcomes.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company policies and pricing guidelines.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in analytics, finance, pricing, business operations, consulting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Proficiency with Google Sheets and Google Slides; experience with Excel is also beneficial.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
  • Experience working with large datasets and performing quantitative analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Interest in healthcare, distribution, pricing strategy, or business analytics.
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
