The Sr. Business Growth Executive, Medically Integrated Dispensing (MID), is a strategic sales leader responsible for driving growth opportunities across McKesson Provider Solutions. This role is engaged as MID opportunities are identified and partners closely with account teams to deliver integrated pharmacy solutions to provider organizations.

This position serves as a subject matter expert in medically integrated dispensing, specialty pharmacy, and pharmacy business development. The Sr. Business Growth Executive leads consultative sales engagements, develops executive-level proposals, and coordinates cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions. The role operates in a remote capacity with regular travel to customer sites and industry conferences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead consultative sales engagements across:
  • Medically Integrated Dispensing (MID) programs
  • Specialty pharmacy development for provider groups, community practices, and health systems
  • MTCS service offerings, including pharmacy operations outsourcing, clinical programs, and administrative services
  • Develop and present comprehensive business cases, including pro forma financial models, implementation roadmaps, and operational strategies
  • Drive adoption of MTCS technology platforms and software solutions
  • Partner with account executives and sales teams to support enterprise customer acquisition and growth strategies
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (operations, clinical, technology, and support) to deliver integrated, customer-centric solutions
  • Develop and deliver compelling executive-level presentations and proposals
Market Development & Thought Leadership
  • Educate internal stakeholders and customers on:
  • Specialty pharmacy business models and economics
  • Medically Integrated Dispensing strategies
  • Evolving healthcare and pharmacy industry trends
  • Maintain deep expertise in:
  • Pharmacy benefit management (PBM) dynamics
  • Provider and health system trends
  • Specialty drug pipeline and therapeutic advancements
  • Regulatory landscape impacting pharmacy and provider operations
  • Represent McKesson as a pharmacy subject matter expert in client engagements, strategic discussions, and industry conferences
Minimum Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent experience, typically requiring 4+ years of relevant experience
Education
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent clinical credential required
  • Experience in specialty pharmacy and/or Medically Integrated Dispensing
Critical Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
  • Specialty pharmacy, pharmacy operations, or consulting
  • Healthcare provider sales or business development
  • Solution-based or consultative sales in complex healthcare environments
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Deep expertise in specialty pharmacy business models and operational performance
  • Experience with provider-based pharmacy strategy, including health systems and community specialty practices
  • Knowledge of accreditation processes (ACHC, URAC) and 340B programs
  • Strong financial acumen, including development and interpretation of business cases and financial models
  • Familiarity with pharmacy technology platforms and workflows
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and build long-term client relationships

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
