Working Hours and/or Working Conditions: Working days and hours may vary. Duties require contacts away from campus. May be assigned to any college location.Must be able to lift and carry 75lbs
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be well organized with ability o handle multiple assignments/projects and maintain record with high degree of accuracy. Possess good interpersonal and customer service skills. Be able to think analytically and make reasonable decisions. Must be self-directed with minimal supervision.
Supervision: Supervision Received: Receives general supervision and direction from the Manager of EAT Facilities & Operations and may take direction from other department Administrators. Supervision Given: May supervise part time staff as assigned.
Job Function
Provide ongoing operation and support of Engineering & Advanced Technology equipment, facilities and related supplies to assigned areas and projects.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with lab operations: order materials and supplies, train lab techs, prepare equipment for instruction, maintain equipment, secure lab areas, and keep necessary records
  • Stay informed and skilled in various manufacturing-related disciplines and their associated supplies and equipment.
  • Assist in organizing staffing, scheduling, and managing the tool crib.
  • Help service and maintain a variety of supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with tracking, ordering supplies, ensuring proper processing and delivery.
  • Ensure safe and secure storage of lab equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • Maintain inventory and help organize stock rooms and tool cribs.
  • Track and monitor daily facilities usage for opening and closing.
  • Ensure lab compliance with OSHA/MIOSHA requirements.
  • Assist with maintaining and monitoring procedures for disinfecting, sterilizing, and disposing of contaminated materials.
  • Communicate and work closely with the Manager of EAT facilities.
  • Perform related tasks as assigned.

Education
High School Diploma Required with 3 years of relevant work experience, Associate's degree preferred in related field.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years' experience in facilities coordination, maintenance, or related field.
