Automotive Service Technician - Mazda or GM

Location: Albuquerque, NM

Quality Dealerships (Buick GMC | Mazda), a family-owned operation serving Albuquerque since 1957, has immediate openings for experienced Automotive Service Technicians. What You'll Do
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently using OEM procedures
  • Perform maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and drivability work (A/C, brakes, suspension, engine, EV/Hybrid where applicable)
  • Use scan tools and diagnostic equipment for pre-/post-scans, module programming, and calibrations
  • Document findings, cause, and correction clearly on the repair order
  • Collaborate with Advisors and Parts to keep work moving and promises accurate
  • Follow shop safety standards and maintain a clean, professional bay
What You'll Bring
  • Professional technician experience (Mazda or GM preferred; other OEMs welcome)
  • Strong diagnostic skills and pride in quality, comeback-free work
  • Ability to follow OEM service information and repair plans
  • Solid communication, time management, and teamwork
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
Nice to Have
  • OEM certifications (Mazda MDP/STEP, GM STG/ASEP) or Master/ASE credentials
  • EV/Hybrid, ADAS calibration, and programming experience
  • State inspection license (if applicable)
Shop Tools & Equipment
  • OEM scan tools and diagnostic platforms, programming capability
  • Alignment machines, tire/wheel equipment, brake lathes, and lifts
  • Dedicated computers at bays and access to OEM service information
  • Documented QC and MPI process to protect you and the customer
