Senior EAM Project Manager
W2 Contract

Randstad is seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Project Manager for a strategic staff augmentation role with a premier client in the Washington, D.C. area. This critical position is responsible for driving business transformation and project management execution within the Infrastructure EAM workstream, specifically focusing on large-scale rail infrastructure and linear asset portfolios. As a senior leader, you will maintain delivery momentum, mitigate operational risks, and oversee the successful implementation of IBM Maximo MAS initiatives during heavy demand project execution phases. Operating within a structured PMO environment, you will collaborate across delivery, technology, and operations teams to support informed decision-making and ensure successful program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management & Governance: Lead the execution of ongoing and upcoming EAM initiatives utilizing formal project governance frameworks (PMO, PMBOK, and stage-gate processes).
  • EAM Business Transformation: Manage the delivery of IBM Maximo MAS or out-of-the-box EAM solutions, ensuring alignment with asset lifecycle management and capacity planning goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with IMCS, Capital Delivery, DT Architecture, and DT Operations teams to ensure feasibility, manage operational dependencies, and maintain project velocity.
  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Build robust relationships across business and technology teams; effectively navigate competing priorities and influence outcomes without direct authority.
  • Risk & Compliance Oversight: Proactively identify and manage technology risks, cybersecurity considerations, and compliance requirements to reduce overall project costs and operational exposure.
  • Data & Analytics: Leverage data sets, dashboards, and reporting tools (such as Power BI or Tableau) to generate insights and support executive decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) and 10+ years of progressive project management experience within asset-intensive, transit, or infrastructure environments.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven track record delivering IBM Maximo MAS initiatives; preference for experience with specific modules including Manage, Health, Transportation, Civil, or Mobile.
  • System Integrations: Demonstrated experience supporting complex integrations between Maximo and ERP, GIS, SCADA, or core data platforms.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of rail infrastructure, linear assets, asset lifecycle processes, and operational dependencies.
  • Software Proficiency: Comfortable utilizing project management tools (Jira, MS Project), documentation/analysis tools (Visio, Lucid, Confluence), and standard office suites (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional analytical, facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
