Job description

Seeking a highly experienced Asset Management Project Manager to play a critical leadership role in a large-scale ERP implementation (Microsoft Dynamics 365). This is a long-term contract opportunity supporting a multi-phase transformation initiative that will modernize core business and operational systems.

This role will partner closely with internal stakeholders, cross-functional business units, and an external implementation partner to ensure successful delivery across all phases of the ERP lifecycle—from discovery through post-implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage asset and work management workstreams within the ERP implementation
  • Drive project execution across multiple business units, ensuring alignment and stakeholder buy-in
  • Collaborate with internal PMO, business stakeholders, and external implementation partner to deliver project milestones
  • Provide leadership across diverse teams spanning multiple functional areas
  • Oversee planning, scheduling, risk management, and issue resolution
  • Support the solution verification (discovery) phase and subsequent implementation phase
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination during key project events (e.g., kickoffs, vendor sessions, UAT)
  • Identify gaps in expertise and help coordinate additional SME support as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Senior-level project management experience with a strong track record of successful large-scale implementations
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional teams across multiple business areas
  • Strong organizational and execution skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience with Asset Management and Work Management systems
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementations
  • Background in utility operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with IBM Maximo
  • Prior experience working alongside third-party implementation partners
