On the east coast of Mauritius, lapped by turquoise waters perfect for water sports, our relaxing Resort is filled with lush greenery and dramatic views everywhere you turn. Each stylish villa and residence feature its own private garden and pool - just like the home for the Resort's resident giant tortoises. After a day exploring the Indian Ocean or playing unlimited golf at both our Ernie Els-designed course and Bernhard Langer signature course, unwind at our award-winning Spa and raise a glass at one of our exciting dining venues. Mauritius is teeming with opportunities for your next day's adventures. Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service Excellence
  • Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables in a professional manner.
  • Present menus, offer recommendations, and provide detailed explanations of dishes and beverages.
  • Ensure a seamless and memorable dining experience by anticipating guest needs and preferences.
  • Handle special requests, dietary restrictions, and allergies accurately.
Service Delivery
  • Take food and beverage orders clearly and accurately.
  • Serve food and drinks according to hotel standards (sequence of service, plating, wine service, etc.).
  • Maintain constant communication with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service.
  • Check back with guests throughout the meal and ensure satisfaction.
Operational Excellence
  • Set up dining areas, including table settings, glassware, cutlery, and decor.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and wellpresented service area.
  • Process bills, handle payments, and ensure accurate billing.
  • Follow all hygiene, safety, and sanitation guidelines (HACCP standards).
Teamwork & Communication
  • Work collaboratively with hosts, chefs, bartenders, and supervisors.
  • Participate in daily briefings, trainings, and service updates.
  • Support colleagues during busy periods to uphold fivestar service consistency.
Brand & Professionalism
  • Uphold the hotel's image through immaculate grooming and uniform standards.

Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Experience
  • Prior experience in restaurant or hotel service (luxury or fine dining preferred).
