Get to Know Your Team: 

  • Lovelace Regional Hospital provides 24/7 emergency services, intensive care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, surgical services, and birthing services for Roswell and the surrounding community. Lovelace’s presence in Roswell also includes a primary and specialty care clinic, allowing us to better serve the residents of southeast New Mexico.

Responsibilities

The overall responsibility of the Materials Tech is to coordinate and assist with the daily inventory management and control of procedural area supplies. Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Additionally, this role includes the use of analytic tools to accurately capture spend and utilization data (Lawson, Epic, Excel) in support of inventory control and management.


Qualifications

Job Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of related experience, of which one (1) year must have been in Materials Management or a clinical area.

Preferred Job Requirements:  

  • RP system experience, such as Lawson.

  • Warehouse organization and operational experience.

  • Knowledge of Epic decremented inventory.

  • Understanding of operating room products and their uses.

  • Knowledge of PO pricing and GL interaction.

  • Computer literacy, including MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and take action.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to act independently by managing multiple priorities, projects, and tasks.

  • Ability to deal with stressful situations.
