Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) to work within the Patriot GEM-T Forebody MPM Team. In this role, you will bridge the Supply Chain and Program teams and manage materials provided by suppliers on the Patriot GEM-T Supply Chain Team. The MPM is responsible for executing the strategies and objectives of the product line to meet cost, quality, and scheduled targets for the program and business unit, ensuring that products are delivered on time to the end customer. You will collaborate and communicate with Program Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, various departments within the Factory organization, Contracts, Customers, and other support functions to ensure rapidly shifting production requirements, material challenges, and competing priorities are successfully executed.
What You Will Do
  • Work closely with program and partnering functions to ensure successful supplier management and execution in support of program needs and requirements.
  • Partner with procurement to ensure suppliers are meeting program requirements (contractual requirements, drawing and technical data packages, and schedule requirements).
  • Assist procurement with supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFP's / RFQ's).
  • Provide status by preparing and presenting slides and files during team tag-ups, daily/weekly program meetings, and monthly program & customer reviews.
  • Maintain and assess the integrity of the MRP environment and the programs' schedule within that environment while balancing supply and demand to allow for an executable schedule.
  • Overall ownership of the supplier and finance management process (i.e., Risk/Opportunity, Line of Balance, Metrics, Material sales forecasts).
  • Proactively address and complete urgent supply chain tasking (Purchase Requisitions integrity, Single/Sole Source Justifications, Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW), Purchase Order follow up.
  • Communicate program status, issues, and resolution plans across all major stakeholders, including Raytheon senior management, customers, and suppliers.
  • Travel domestically to suppliers as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Experience with MRP systems such as SAP or equivalent system.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Bachelor's in Business, Finance, Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) and the ability to work and succeed in a matrix environment.
  • Must be a self-starter, capable of implementing functional and program objectives, and able to interface with all levels of internal management and, as required, supplier management.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to assign the appropriate priorities to often conflicting tasks.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
