EIT (Electronic Instrumentation & Technology)-Zollner is looking for a Materials Program Manager to join our team in our Leesburg, VA location! EIT is a Contract Manufacturer specializing in Electronic Manufacturing Services and serves customers in the sectors of Industry, Communications, Aerospace, Defense and Healthcare, and we're proud to build a team of dedicated professionals who take pride in their work.
Job Summary:
Responsible for analyzing and improving supply chain processes to ensure efficient inventory management, production scheduling, and customer support. This role works closely with customers as needed, internal teams, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery, cost control, and continuous improvement.
Essential Functions:
  • Analyze increases and decreases in forecasts and schedules to manage materials and production needs
  • Run "what-if" scenarios to support scheduling and decision-making
  • Align customer demand with production planning
  • Collaborate with teams to manage inventory levels and minimize excess obsolete material
  • Support new and changing customer orders
  • Work with the Master Scheduler to set production schedules and resolve order discrepancies
  • Track inventory and creating action plans to optimize stock levels
  • Manage component choices and alternatives to control costs
  • Support product lifecycle changes and new product launches
  • Represent the Supply Chain team in internal and external customer meetings
  • Assist with sales forecasts and planning systems
  • Assist Buyers with purchase order placement and maintenance as needed
  • Work with internal teams to make sure quality standards are met and customer satisfaction is optimized

Qualifications and Education Requirement:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field, preferred
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning, procurement, and inventory systems
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Knowledge of electronics purchasing and global supply chain practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Professional, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information
  • Committed to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction

Working Conditions: Flexibility required for meetings across multiple time zones.
Work Location: Leesburg, VA
Schedule: 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off
