Job description

Under a major Intelligence Community contract, IAP operates and maintains facilities, systems, and associated grounds across Virginia and Maryland. Services provided include comprehensive facility operations; project management for renovations, minor construction, and major equipment repairs; engineering, construction, and operations support; custodial and grounds maintenance services; environmental, safety, and occupational health support; food services; motorpool and logistics operations; and physical and technical security services.
As the Logistics Program Manager, you will ensure performance compliance with contract requirements, while managing logistics staff tasking, and interfacing with government stakeholders to support mission and readiness objectives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
โ€ข Centralized oversight of transportation, executive transportation, and courier services
โ€ข Management of logistics personnel and direct engagement with Government stakeholders
โ€ข Performance monitoring and reporting for secure movement, classified courier activities, and government property handling
โ€ข Oversight of warehouse, material management, and cargo services
โ€ข Coordination of mailroom operations and government vehicle utilization
โ€ข Interface with multiple stakeholders to ensure contract compliance and mission effectiveness
โ€ข Participation in procurement, permitting, and subcontracting as related to logistics functions
โ€ข Construction-related activities including daily inspections, red-lines, submittal review and approval, and RFI responses
โ€ข Review of construction drawings and creation of 'take-offs' for primary tradecraft
โ€ข Estimating and use of software estimating tools
โ€ข Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding logistics-related problems with varying complexity
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
8-10 Years of progressive experience within logistics, supply chain management; 3-5 years in a leadership role.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
โ€ข Previous project or logistics management experience
โ€ข Excellent oral and written communication skills
โ€ข Experience with warehouse operations, inventory management, and government property control
โ€ข Understanding of courier services and government vehicle management
โ€ข Familiarity with logistics audit support and compliance inspections
โ€ข Knowledge of procurement and materials handling
โ€ข Ability to delegate effectively and foster team performance
