The Electrification & Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing in our Future Grids portfolio to create the power distribution grid of the future.

We are looking for a Material Handler Level II to join our MCC - New PACS Facility. This position will be based in Wendell, NC.

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials, including receiving, shipping, storage, picking, delivery, and inventory management.

Shift Hours: 6:00AM - 2:30PM

Hourly Rate: $20.36

You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:

? Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years' experience in material management (warehousing).

  • 3+ years' experience driving a forklift, order picker and stand up.

  • 2+ years of experience with packing and crating.

  • Must be able to lift parts or sub-assemblies that weigh up to 50 lbs.

  • Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.

  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

?Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Experience with SAP system

  • Experience with RF Scanners

  • Experience with cranes.

  • Ability to train others on department processes

  • Proficient with MS Office applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook

? You'll make an impact by:

  • Safely operating stand-up reach trucks, stand-up order pickers, and sit-down forklifts in high-traffic areas and narrow aisles; inspecting equipment daily.

  • Unloading, receiving, counting, and verifying incoming production materials, recording data in SAP.

  • Picking materials for internal and external customers using RF scanners with count accuracy.

  • Performing daily cycle counts and efficiently packing and shipping materials damage-free.

  • Adhering to safety rules, following established processes, and seeking improvement opportunities.

  • Strong attention to detail while meeting deadlines

  • Working as a great teammate and completing other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
