Who will you be working with?

You will work cross-functionally with Warehouse, Planning, Procurement, and Production teams to ensure seamless material flow and execution. This role serves as a key connection point between operations and material functions, partnering closely with leadership and frontline teams to maintain production readiness.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Materials/Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring daily material readiness and execution alignment to support production schedules. The Materials Technical Advisor (MTA) is a senior-level individual contributor who owns day-to-day material priorities, execution decisions, and ERP accuracy. You will coordinate across multiple functions to resolve material issues, mitigate risks, and maintain operational flow. Your work directly supports production efficiency, inventory integrity, and on-time delivery performance.

What do we want to know about you?

  • Do you have an Associateโ€™s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing materials, inventory control, or production support?
  • Do you have a strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems?
  • Are you proficient in Microsoft Office Suite?
  • Have you supported and worked closely with production schedules in a manufacturing environment?
  • Are you able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting?
  • Do you have experience working in multi-line or complex manufacturing operations?
  • Do you have advanced knowledge of ERP transactions and exception handling?
  • Have you coordinated material execution across multiple production lines?

What will your typical day look like?

  • Confirm daily material readiness and align priorities to production needs
  • Communicate material status, risks, and coordinate recovery actions
  • Oversee ERP transactions and investigate inventory discrepancies
  • Resolve material issues with Warehouse, Procurement, and Production teams
  • Support shop floor execution, including material movement and line support
  • Maintain organized material areas and participate in inventory activities
  • Ensure compliance with material handling, audit, and safety requirements

What about the physical demands of the job?

Frequent standing and walking, handling, and reaching outward. Occasional sitting, reaching up/over shoulder, climbing, and bending. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.

The hourly rate for this role is in the range of $27.00ย - $32.00ย per hourย 

The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
