Role and Responsibilities
  • Lead the procurement and planning teams responsible for strategic sourcing, procurement, materials planning, inventory management, logistics, and supplier performance supporting AI server repair operations while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies that ensure the timely availability of critical repair components, including GPUs, CPUs, memory, storage devices, networking components, power supplies, cooling assemblies, system boards, and other high-value server assemblies.
  • Lead material planning activities to support customer repair service level agreements (SLAs), minimizing shortages while optimizing inventory investment and inventory turns.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies, including contingency sourcing in support of business continuity preparedness, for new suppliers while strengthening relationships with existing strategic suppliers, authorized distributors, OEMs, and contract manufacturers.
  • Drive supplier selection, qualification, and performance management based on quality, delivery, cost, responsiveness, technical capability, capacity, and business continuity.
  • Negotiate pricing, master supply agreements, service agreements, and long-term procurement contracts that reduce total cost of ownership while ensuring continuity of supply.
  • Develop inventory planning strategies for critical service parts, balancing customer responsiveness with inventory optimization and lifecycle management.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Repair Operations, Quality, and Program Management to ensure material availability supports production schedules, NPI readiness, and customer commitments.
  • Develop and execute reverse logistics strategies for customer returns, warranty processing, repairable assets, and component recovery to maximize asset utilization and minimize repair costs.
  • Monitor global semiconductor, electronics, and AI infrastructure supply markets to proactively identify shortages, allocation risks, end-of-life notifications, and alternative sourcing opportunities.
  • Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives, corrective actions, and continuous improvement programs that improve component reliability and reduce repair cycle times.
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs requirements, environmental regulations, customer security requirements, and applicable industry standards, including the prevention of counterfeit or unauthorized components entering the supply chain.
  • Develop supply chain performance metrics including supplier on-time delivery, fill rate, inventory accuracy, inventory turns, material availability, cost savings, procurement cycle time, and supplier quality performance.
  • Travel up to 25% as required to supplier locations, customer sites, and company facilities.
Education, Training and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline required.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive quality management experience within electronics manufacturing, depot repair, OEM service, or high-technology manufacturing, including at least five (5) years of leadership experience.
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) required, Six Sigma Black Belt, or other similar certifications preferred
  • IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711/7721 certifications required; J-STD-001 certification preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and experience implementing and maintaining compliant quality systems.
  • Experience supporting repair operations involving enterprise servers, AI infrastructure, GPU systems, storage platforms, networking equipment, printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), and electronic subassemblies strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in quality tools and methodologies, including CAPA, 8D, SPC, MSA, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Mapping, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical data analysis.
  • Experience managing customer quality requirements, supplier quality programs, warranty analysis, field failure investigations, and customer audits.
  • Knowledge of ESD controls, electronics manufacturing processes, component-level repair, reliability principles, and failure analysis techniques.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Power BI, Visio, and Project, with experience using statistical analysis software.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively with customers and executive leadership, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Verbal and written fluency in Mandarin or Spanish preferred
