A leading social media company is seeking a Sr. Materials Manager to own the end-to-end relationship with assigned ODM partners, serving as the single point of accountability for material readiness, supply continuity, and production execution across server and infrastructure hardware programs. Seeking expertise to define and institutionalize the operating processes that govern newly onboarded and existing vendor partnerships to a rapidly scaling environment. We are looking for a strategic operator with strong program management instincts who is energized by ambiguity and adept at creating processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the operating framework for newly onboarded and existing ODM and vendor partnerships, including governance, review cadence, escalation paths, and performance reporting.

  • Own the ODM partner relationship end-to-end; drive MRP alignment and manage Clear-to-Build (CTB) cycles.

  • Track material availability against build plans and escalate gating components before they impact the schedule.

  • Translate material risks into actionable recovery plans; ensure on-time delivery to the global data center buildout schedule.

  • Manage complex BOMs in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

  • Interface daily with commodity managers, NPI, logistics, PO management, and engineering to resolve constraints.

  • Communicate status and risk concisely to leadership, drive accountability with external partners.

**This role is 100% onsite in Austin, TX.**

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of work experience

  • Demonstrated success establishing operating processes and governance cadence with newly onboarded and existing vendors or partners.

  • Experience managing complex BOMs in high-volume manufacturing.

  • Strong strategic planning and program management capability.

  • Direct experience working with ODM planning and procurement teams.

  • Strong cross-functional coordination and clear, concise executive communication.

  • Ability to navigate conflict and drive external partner accountability.

  • Ability to work onsite in Austin, TX.

  • HS Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct ODM experience; prior ownership of a full ODM CTB cycle is the top differentiator.

  • Hyperscale or large-scale ODM/EMS background.

  • Networking rack experience is a plus; adjacent hardware or high-volume manufacturing experience also translates.

  • Project management skills are an added plus
