Raytheon is seeking an experienced professional with a strong and proven successful background in Material Program Management (MPM) on the Javelin Joint Venture Team to be located onsite in Tucson, Arizona.
This role requires basic knowledge of the material requirements planning (MRP) process with practical knowledge of project and material management.
In this role you will learn and further develop your knowledge of manufacturing, material requirements planning and business acumen within a matrixed organization. The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communications skills to influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one's own job function as well as with parties external to the organization and company. You will have the opportunity to lead projects, budgeting and financial management, issue, and conflict resolution.
This is an onsite position located in Tucson, AZ.
What You Will Do
  • Execute material strategies to support program objectives.
  • Support recurring supplier, program, and IPT Reviews including visibility of procurement plans and escalation of supply chain issues.
  • Implement a forward-looking approach to procurement, pro-actively identifying procurement/delivery gaps, and leveraging the appropriate support teams to drive throughput of product deliveries.
  • Develop and execute Risk & Opportunity (R&O) plans to meet Annual Operating Plan (AOP) & program responsibilities; Proactively manage mitigation plans.
  • Manage budgets for all buy parts and supply chain labor in support of the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process.
  • Supplier Can-Build oversight including metrics and health assessments.
  • Support prime proposals and program start-up including developing and executing Material Product Strategies (MPS) and Material Product Plans (MPP).
  • Support Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs) and obtain and understand supplier proposals/quotes.
  • Flow customer and product requirements to suppliers; Conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity, and risk.
  • Willing to travel, as required.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Financial Acumen: Experience with Forecasting.
  • Prior experience working in the defense industry within the supply chain function.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR and DFAR).
  • Experience presenting to key stakeholders.
  • Proven success in high stress, fast paced environments.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
