Position Overview

Are you ready to transition from structural calculations to structural legacy? We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer (PE) to serve as a technical linchpin for high-impact residential and mixed-use developments. In this role, you will do more than design buildings; you will architect the resilient frameworks that house communities. You will lead complex projects, steering the structural integrity of multi-level structures while leveraging sophisticated techniques like post-tensioned concrete to deliver innovative, efficient solutions.

Joining our team means stepping into a culture that prioritizes technical excellence and collective growth. We provide a collaborative environment where senior leaders are empowered to mentor the next generation of engineers while enjoying the autonomy to manage diverse portfolios. With a focus on long-term career trajectory and a comprehensive total rewards package—including relocation options and performance bonuses—this is a platform designed for professionals who want to build a lasting impact in the Dallas-Fort Worth skyline.

Core Responsibilities

  • Structural Leadership: Architect the design and analysis of complex multi-family residential and mixed-use structures, ensuring safety, efficiency, and resilience.

  • System Optimization: Apply deep expertise in post-tensioned concrete systems, elevated slabs, and structural steel to optimize building performance and durability.

  • Technical Authority: Review, approve, and seal structural calculations, drawings, and specifications as the Engineer of Record.

  • Multidisciplinary Integration: Collaborate seamlessly with architects, MEP engineers, and developers to integrate structural systems into holistic building designs.

  • Risk Mitigation: Incorporate advanced seismic and wind design principles and develop foundation solutions tailored for expansive soils.

  • Team Mentorship: Steer the professional development of junior engineers and design staff, fostering a culture of technical rigor and continuous learning.

  • Project Stewardship: Oversee the structural lifecycle from initial design through construction administration, ensuring quality control and adherence to rigorous codes and standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.

  • Licensure: Active Professional Engineering (PE) license.

  • Experience: 5–20 years of structural engineering experience, specifically focused on multi-family housing or apartment buildings.

  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of wood-framed construction, elevated concrete, and post-tensioned (PT) design.

  • Codes & Standards: Comprehensive knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, and industry-standard structural analysis software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Regional Expertise: Specific experience with Dallas-area soil conditions and high-load wind/seismic regions.

  • Advanced Licensure: SE (Structural Engineer) license or multi-state PE licensure.

  • Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Revit Structure and RISA-3D or similar analytical tools.
