Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Power Design: Architect detailed electrical power systems for complex water and wastewater treatment facilities, operating with full technical autonomy.

  • System Analysis & Optimization: Perform rigorous load calculations, short circuit current analysis, voltage drop studies, and harmonic distortion evaluations to ensure system resilience.

  • Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a dedicated team of electrical engineers, overseeing the execution of conduit routing, motor control center layouts, and switchgear design.

  • Field Engineering & Start-up: Steer field investigative activities and lead start-up operations to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs in real-world environments.

  • Specification Mastery: Generate comprehensive technical specifications and design tasks that meet the highest industry standards and client requirements.

  • Regulatory Authority: Serve as the internal expert on NEC, NFPA 820, NESC, and IEEE color book series, ensuring absolute compliance across all project phases.

  • Client Stewardship: Interface positively with clients to translate complex technical needs into actionable engineering solutions while maintaining project schedules and budgets.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) registration.

  • Experience: 10–15 years of experience specializing in power systems within a consulting engineering environment.

  • Software Proficiency: Expert command of MS Office Suite (Word/Excel) and industry-standard power system application software.

  • Technical Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of NEC, NFPA 820, NESC, and IEEE standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Education: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
