Job Description:

Cydecor is seeking a Data Platform Architect to design and support enterprise data architectures that enable secure, scalable, and reliable data integration, analytics, and reporting capabilities. This role focuses on data architecture, data modeling, and ETL solutions supporting Science & Technology (S&T) mission environments and Federal financial or operational systems, including modern cloud-based platforms.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and implement enterprise-level data architectures with a focus on data integration and ETL solutions
  • Develop logical and physical data models to support transactional, analytical, and reporting systems
  • Provide architecture and design support for database, business intelligence, data integration, and master data management solutions
  • Design and support Online Transaction Processing (OLTP), Online Analytical Processing (OLAP), and reporting systems
  • Architect and support integrated cloud-based data solutions
  • Conduct data architecture and ETL activities supporting S&T mission-focused organizations
  • Support data architecture and ETL efforts for DoW or other Federal agencies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align data platform designs with mission, business, and technical requirements
  • Ensure architecture designs adhere to established standards, security requirements, and best practices
  • Contribute to technical documentation and architecture artifacts

Here's what you need:

  • Five (5) years of experience in data architecture design with a focus on enterprise architecture and ETL
  • Five (5) years of experience in data modeling, including logical and physical data design
  • Two (2) years of experience conducting data architecture and ETL in or for a Science & Technology (S&T) mission-focused organization
  • Two (2) years of experience conducting data architecture and ETL in or for the Department of the Workforce (DoW) or another Federal agency
  • Experience designing and supporting OLTP, OLAP, and reporting systems
  • Experience providing architecture and design support for database, business intelligence, data integration, and master data management solutions, including cloud-based environments

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience supporting large-scale Federal or enterprise data platforms
  • Familiarity with cloud-native data services and modern data integration frameworks

Security Clearance:

  • Active Secret Clearance

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred

Work Schedule:

  • Hybrid

Compensation and Benefits:
The projected compensation range for this position is $129,000-$185,000.
