Job description

Our client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst - Master Data Management (MDM) to lead and support enterprise Master Data Management initiatives within the Multifamily Mortgage business. This role combines technical expertise in data engineering and governance with strategic partnership across business and technical stakeholders to design scalable, enterprise-grade data solutions.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Lead MDM initiatives and partner with business stakeholders, data stewards, architects, and engineering teams to define and govern critical data domains across the enterprise
  • Analyze complex business processes and translate requirements into scalable data management, governance, and reference data solutions
  • Design, develop, and optimize advanced SQL queries, ETL processes, and data pipelines to support enterprise reporting and analytics
  • Develop and maintain enterprise data quality rules, validation processes, and monitoring frameworks to ensure data integrity
  • Create and support MDM implementation roadmaps with defined milestones, dependencies, risk assessments, and success metrics
  • Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to architect AWS-based solutions for scalable and secure data integration
  • Support enterprise data governance initiatives, including metadata management, data lineage, business glossary development, and reference data management
  • Present analytical insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders; mentor junior team members on data best practices

Requirements
  • 8-10 years of professional experience in data analytics, data engineering, or Master Data Management
  • Advanced SQL proficiency and hands-on expertise with ETL processes and data pipeline design
  • Strong experience with AWS cloud technologies and cloud-based data architectures
  • Demonstrated expertise in MDM platforms, enterprise data governance, and metadata management
  • Solid understanding of data quality frameworks, reference data management, and data validation strategies
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Experience mentoring team members and fostering a data governance culture within organizations
