Location: Hudson Yards, New York, NY (Hybrid )

Job Type: Contract 

We are seeking an experienced Data Governance professional to join a leading fashion and lifestyle brand's Data Analytics team. This is a hands-on delivery role focused on implementing and operating enterprise data governance frameworks, tools, and best practices. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across governance tooling, data quality, master data management, and modern cloud data platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain enterprise data catalogs, including data lineage and metadata management
  • Implement and execute Data Quality (DQ) frameworks and processes
  • Establish data governance standards, guardrails, and operating models
  • Drive data classification and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Support Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives across business domains
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align governance practices with business objectives
  • Contribute to or advise on Agentic AI use cases as they intersect with governed data
Required Skills  
  • Data Management & Data Governance frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with governance tools: Informatica, Collibra, or equivalent
  • Catalog building, data lineage, and metadata management
  • Data Quality implementation and execution
  • Practical Master Data Management (MDM) experience
