ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Use SQL to build and maintain views and tables in a cloud data warehouse, following established development standards and collaborating with IT data engineers on data pipeline architecture.
  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI semantic models and dashboards that serve supply chain and purchasing stakeholders, including data modeling, DAX measures, and row-level security.
  • Develop deep knowledge of supply chain domains (master data, demand planning, supply planning, purchasing, and production) to accurately represent business concepts in data models and reporting.
  • Evaluate data and dashboards through the lens of diverse consumers across departments and seniority levels, balancing technical accuracy with usability.
  • Leverage knowledge of supply chain architecture to identify data quality risks, surface anomalies, and partner with Master Data Management and/or IT on mitigation strategies.
  • Comfortable presenting in front of large groups of various seniority levels.
  • Train and support planning team members on dashboard usage and self-service analytics best practices.
  • Identify and manage resources and tools necessary to drive projects and ensure successful completion.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, Pivot Tables, and Power Query M.
  • Proficiency in SQL for building and maintaining views, tables, and data transformations in a cloud data warehouse environment.
  • Strong Power BI development skills including Power Query M, semantic modeling, DAX, and report/dashboard design.
  • Familiarity with dimensional modeling concepts (grain, cardinality, normalization) and how they translate into BI semantic models.
  • Ability to evaluate a business need from both operational and technical perspectives, translating stakeholder requirements into data models and reporting solutions.
  • Experience partnering with data engineering or IT teams on shared data architecture and pipeline development.
  • Python or other scripting experience is a plus.
  • Supply chain domain knowledge is a plus.
  • Golf industry knowledge is a plus.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or other “STEM” programs.
