Job description

Envisioneering, Inc. is a veteran-owned small business with over 30 years of experience dedicated to mission support and technology development for US national defense. We are seeking a Senior Program Manager (PM) to support our current work with the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL).

The candidate will have experience managing maintenance of Navy ships and will understand ship drawings, shipboard industrial work, Navy Modernization Process, Ship Change Documents, Technical Data Packages. This position will work with ship installations supporting Navy R&D and S&T projects for the Naval Research Enterprise to provide testing of new technologies. Candidates require experience in ship maintenance roles such as Performance Monitoring Team (PMT) Officer-in-Charge (OIC), Intermediate Maintenance Facility (IMF) leading Petty Officer (LPO) or Division Officer.

Other responsibilities include: Independently execute and manage shipboard projects. Provide oversight/ management of the task support. Serve as a technical lead in the development planning documents in support of test execution Assist to define and advise on supporting systems to meet equipment performance requirements.

Assessing and ensuring compliance of program deliverables and ensure that performance meets all Government contracting requirements within cost and schedule. Assist to identify areas that could benefit in improved performance, capacity, reliability, efficiency, and/or life cycle cost. Develop Project Management Plans for task execution and establish project guidelines that meet contractual requirements, as well as Envisioneering's corporate practices and procedures.

Assist in the capture of monthly progress reports detailing work performed, schedule of activities, and issues/concerns arising or potentially arising in the following month's efforts, (submitted monthly).MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Candidate should have experience in one of the following areas: nuclear-trained Limited Duty Officer (LDO), technical LDO, Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) background, or as a technical rated Chief Petty Officer (CPO), Senior Chief Petty Officer (SCPO), or Master Chief Petty Officer (MCPO). Naval service Technical rating. Experience with ship maintenance in one of the following roles: PMT OIC, IMF LPO, or Division Officer

Experience and demonstrated ability to understand ships drawings, shipboard industrial work, Navy Modernization Process, Ship Change Documents, and Technical Data Packages in support of short duration testing. Ability to ride ships and demonstrate new technologies as a part of the government/contractor team. Familiar with standard productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite in order to support system documentation efforts.

Experience in producing and presenting program related documentation, reports and briefings for technical, programmatic level audiences. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance* required at time of hire with the ability to obtain Top Secret. TRAVEL: 20-50% as determined by mission requirements.

EDUCATION: Technical degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university is preferred.
