Job Description

Summary:

The position is available in the Mass Spectrometry and Biophysical Characterization group in Analytical R&D.ย 

The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing methods of analysis for characterization of proteins, peptides, vaccines, carbohydrates, and oligonucleotides using advanced analytical techniques.

The qualified colleague must have knowledge in protein biochemistry and/or protein analytics, and should have expertise in one or more protein characterization tools, including mass spectrometry, chromatographic separations, proteolytic mapping, electrophoresis, biophysical techniques, and glycan analysis.ย 

These techniques will be applied to a large platform of projects in all stages of development. Good communication and writing skills are essential due to the highly matrixed, fast-paced, project-team environment.



Qualifications

ย The qualifications include a minimum of a B.S. in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or related field; industrial experience in analytical characterization is desirable.ย
