NAPA is expanding and joining Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital! Help be a part of a collaborative team and practice in a facility recognized for quality and safety. Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital is a 123-bed, not-for-profit acute-care hospital serving Newport News and the surrounding communities in the Virginia Peninsula and Hampton Roads area. It is the most comprehensive facility of its kind on the Virginia Peninsula. The hospital's mission emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care - inspired by the healing ministry values of the larger Bon Secours system - offering clinicians the chance to practice medicine within a values-driven community framework. Our practice operates under a collaborative care team model. Our care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence.

Case Assignments & Schedule
Schedule: 50-hour work week. 5-10's Monday-Friday and done by 5PM. No Call No Weekends
Diverse and challenging case mix includes Ortho, General, Endo, Urology - Cysto, L&D, Ophthalmology, GYN, Neuro, ENT, Urology, Thoracic, Radiology, Vascular, Plastics, Pain

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements
MD or DO from an accredited institution
Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
Board Eligible or Board Certified
Current medical licensure
ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
