Company: Marubeni Citizen-Cincom

Experience Level: 3–6 years of CNC machine tool experience

If You Like Fixing Machines More Than Making Parts, Keep Reading.

This role exists because Marubeni Citizen-Cincom supports manufacturers long after a machine is installed.

When a customer needs a machine installed, repaired, diagnosed, or brought back into production, you're the person they call.

You'll spend most of your time in the field working directly with customers, solving mechanical and electrical problems, performing installations, and helping keep production moving.

If you've always been the person everyone comes to when a machine goes down, this could be a great fit.

---

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Citizen-Cincom and Miyano CNC machines
  • Travel to customer facilities to perform machine installations and service work
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues
  • Replace components including ball screws, motors, cartridge spindles, and other machine assemblies
  • Read ladder diagrams and use machine diagnostics to identify problems
  • Align tooling and bar feed systems
  • Repair spindle bearings and perform machine alignments
  • Complete first-part runoffs following installations or major repairs
  • Provide technical support over the phone when customers need assistance
  • Work independently while representing Marubeni Citizen-Cincom at customer facilities

No two days are the same. One week you may be installing a new machine. The next you could be troubleshooting a production issue that gets a customer's shop back up and running.
