Role Overview 
We are hiring a trial-focused Landlord-Tenant Attorney with 7+ years of hands-on litigation experience handling both commercial and residential disputes. You will be responsible for case strategy, document drafting, negotiation, and court appearances—managing matters end-to-end in one of NYC’s most elite landlord-tenant practice groups. 
 
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities 
    • Draft predicate notices and legal pleadings 
    • Prepare and argue motions 
    • Draft complex settlement agreements 
    • Take and defend depositions 
    • Handle all aspects of Housing Court and other real estate-related litigation 
    • Participate in trial preparation and courtroom litigation 
 
 
Must Have 
    • Minimum 7 years of landlord-tenant resolution experience 
    • Demonstrated ability to draft predicate notices, pleadings, motions, and settlements 
    • Experience taking and defending depositions 
    • Strong negotiation skills 
    • Excellent research, writing, and litigation technology skills 
    • Familiarity with New York City Housing law and court procedures 
 
 
Compensation 
    • Base Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 (based on experience) 
    • Revenue Sharing: 1/3 of collected billed time 
    • Origination Bonus: 20% for new clients introduced to the firm 
    • Supplementary Bonus Structure: Available for business development 
    • No requirement for portable book of business
