Position Summary

Fairfield Inn by Marriott, proudly managed by Janus Hotels & Resorts, is seeking an experienced and reliable Housekeeping Supervisor to support daily housekeeping operations and uphold Marriott brand standards. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring guest rooms and public areas are clean, safe, and welcoming while guiding a dedicated housekeeping team in a positive, efficient work environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back‑of‑house areas
  • Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to meet brand quality and productivity standards
  • Inspect guest rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and consistency with Marriott standards
  • Assign daily duties, manage schedules, and ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of team members
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels for linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies
  • Communicate with Front Desk and Maintenance regarding room status, guest requests, and maintenance issues
  • Address guest concerns professionally and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and cleanliness procedures

Qualifications
  • Previous housekeeping experience required; supervisory experience preferred
  • Prior hotel or branded‑hotel experience strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced hospitality environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs. as needed
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
