Job description

Bilingual Spanish Marketing Intern
Lincoln, Nebraska, USA
We're looking for Bilingual Spanish Marketing Interns to join our team and assist in expanding the reach of our Marketbook Latin America publication, website and hosted services. This paid internship starts at $20/hour, with a part-time work schedule that is flexible around classes. Many internships lead straight into full time careers here at Sandhills Global.
In this position, you will provide circulation support for Mexico and other Spanish-speaking Latin American countries by reaching out to distribution points, updating internal databases from these conversations, and sharing feedback with the team and management. This internship may include researching new locations and other distribution channels in the Latin America market as well.
Bilingual Spanish Marketing Interns also work with end users of Sandhills products and services. They will process website registrations, assist customers with any questions they have about website registrations, and enter auction results for the industries within Sandhills Global's industries.
As an intern, you can have the opportunity to travel and visit distribution points across various Latin American industries to connect buyers and sellers with our valuable content. This also may involve travel to industry trade shows to promote our publications, websites and hosted services, which may include overnight and weekend stays. Travel would be during school breaks and vacations.
The Bilingual Spanish Marketing Interns will participate in a training program upon hire, where they will have short rotational experience in sales and auction clerking support. This provides a well-rounded internship experience and broader scope of Sandhills Global and how all areas of the company are interdependent. The interns also will contribute to other miscellaneous projects and duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior majoring in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or other relevant program preferred
• Ability to gain knowledge of the products and customers of the industries Sandhills Global serves.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish
• Able to work independently and communicate within a team environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Flexible and open to change
• Stable and progressive work history
• Results oriented
• In Office Position. Ability to commute daily to local office is required
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to travel both air and surface domestically and internationally - valid driver's license and applicable international travel documentation required
