Job description

Own lead generation for a growing multi-brand home services company.

Fence Direct is one of Florida's leading fence companies, serving residential, commercial, and wholesale customers throughout the state. Our sales team runs on leads. Right now marketing is handled part-time by leadership on top of everything else. We're hiring a Marketing Manager to take it over entirely and run it like their own business.
This is not an assist-the-marketing-team role. There is no marketing team. You are it โ€” with a real budget, direct access to ownership, and the authority to make calls.
What You'll Own

Lead generation strategy โ€” Lead gen end to end. Volume, cost per lead, and lead quality are your numbers. Strategy across channels, locations, and brands. You decide where the money goes and defend it with data.
Paid media & budget โ€” Google Ads and Meta Ads managed for return, not impressions. The marketing budget is yours, and so is reporting on what it produced. Test, kill what doesn't work, scale what does.
Attribution & reporting โ€” Build lead tracking and attribution so we know which dollar produced which closed job, not just which form fill. Connect marketing data to Housecall Pro so lead source ties to revenue. Report to ownership on a regular cadence, in plain numbers.
Brand & reputation โ€” Brand architecture across our companies: consistent and deliberate, not accidental. Review generation, response, and monitoring across Google and social. Direct content and creative across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, including managing freelancers or a future junior hire for production.
Website & organic โ€” Own the website: conversion, speed, landing pages, updates. Drive local SEO and Google Business Profile performance across our service areas. Run email marketing to our existing customers for repeat and referral work.
How Success Is Measured

Qualified lead volume per month. Cost per qualified lead and cost per closed job. Return on ad spend by channel. Share of leads with accurate, traceable source attribution. Review volume and average rating across locations.
What We're Looking For

Required
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, including written. A large share of our Central Florida market is Spanish-speaking. You'll write ad copy, landing pages, and social content in both languages and respond to reviews and customer messages in both. Conversational Spanish isn't enough โ€” we need clean, persuasive writing, not translated copy.
  • 4+ years in marketing with direct ownership of paid ad budgets, not just "supported" campaigns
  • Demonstrated results in Google Ads and Meta Ads, with numbers you can walk us through
  • Experience building or running lead tracking and attribution
  • Comfortable in analytics: GA4, ad platform reporting, call tracking
  • Strong writer and clear communicator โ€” you'll report directly to ownership
  • Self-directed. Nobody is going to build your calendar for you.
Preferred: home services or local services marketing; Spanish-language paid campaigns; multi-location or multi-brand experience; local SEO and Google Business Profile; CRM and marketing automation integration; short-form video production or directing freelancers who do it.
Application Requirements

Please include your resume, a portfolio or examples of work, and a short note on one campaign you owned: what you spent, what you got, and how you knew.
