Growth Marketing Manager

Suger.io

Job description

About Us

Suger is a YC-backed, Series A B2B SaaS company helping software vendors scale revenue through cloud marketplaces like AWS, Azure, and GCP. We power the entire cloud GTM motion - listing, co-selling, transaction, and revenue operations - for fast-growing software companies. We're headquartered in San Francisco with a growing engineering hub in Vancouver, and we're preparing for our next stage of growth.

Today, we're working 300+ amazing customers, ranging from top AI companies like the LLM labs, Decagon, Glean, to large enterprises like Snowflake, Workday, and Intel.

We're looking for our first Growth Marketing Manager to build and scale Suger's organic growth engine. This is a foundational marketing hire and a newly created role with the opportunity to make a significant impact from day one. You'll sit at the intersection of Product, Sales, and Customer Success - translating a technical, fast-evolving product into messaging that resonates with revenue leaders, cloud alliance teams, and RevOps buyers.

This isn't a role where you'll inherit a mature marketing machine. You'll help build it.

If you're energized by creating content, experimenting with new growth channels, and owning marketing initiatives from idea to execution, we'd love to meet you.

We work on a hybrid model, with 4 days per week in our new Vancouver office at 321 Water St.

What You'll Do
  • Own and execute Suger's organic growth strategy across LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, and other emerging channels.
  • Create compelling B2B content, including videos, customer stories, product materials, educational content, and thought leadership.
  • Partner closely with our founders and go-to-market team to turn product launches, customer wins, and industry insights into engaging content.
  • Experiment with new acquisition channels and continuously test ideas that generate awareness and pipeline.
  • Help shape our SEO and GEO strategy to maximize discoverability in AI-powered search experiences.
  • Own positioning and messaging across the Suger product suite, developing compelling narratives that clearly differentiate our platform within the cloud marketplace and Cloud GTM category.
  • Analyze performance, identify what's working, and iterate quickly based on data.
  • Collaborate across Sales, Customer Success, and Product to create marketing campaigns that resonate with enterprise buyers.
  • Stay ahead of marketing trends, AI tools, and emerging growth opportunities.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or tech marketing, with meaningful time spent in a fast-paced startup environment. (bonus: cloud infrastructure, marketplaces, RevOps, or fintech-adjacent products) Ambiguity doesn't scare you - it excites you as an opportunity to build.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex software into compelling content.
  • Experience creating B2B content for platforms including LinkedIn, YouTube, and Reddit.
  • Proven track record launching products and building messaging for technical buyers.
  • You are proficient with LLMs/AI assistants and automation platforms (e.g., Claude Code, n8n) to force-multiply your output.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ownership - you've thrived at an early-stage startup or built a PMM function from limited resources
  • Hands-on experience with SEO and/or Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud marketplaces (AWS Marketplace, Azure Marketplace, GCP Marketplace) or cloud alliance ecosystems is a strong plus
Why Join Suger?
  • Base Pay Range: $110,000 - 150,000 CAD
  • Competitive compensation and equity plan.
  • Monthly office stipends for lunch and commute-related benefits.
  • Extended health care, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • Work alongside a top-notch team with experience at Google, Meta, Salesforce, Pave, Motive, and Square - building AI agent and AI infrastructure SaaS that powers revenue workflows.
  • Own a major pillar of our go-to-market strategy from day one - a foundational role with ownership over our market narrative as we scale toward Series B.
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.
