Global Market Intelligence Lead
Huntsman is seeking a Global Market Intelligence Lead supporting the Performance Products Division located in The Woodlands, Texas. This position will report to the Market Intelligence Commodities Manager.
Job Scope
The Global Market Intelligence Lead is responsible for developing and delivering actionable global market and competitive intelligence to support strategic decision-making across the Performance Products division. This role partners closely with sales, marketing, business development, and asset management teams to identify growth opportunities, track market trends, and enable commercial success through data-driven insights and sales enablement tools.
In summary, as the Global Market Intelligence Lead, you will:
  • Develop and implement a global market intelligence methodology within a cross-functional, multi-regional organization.
  • Analyze, interpret, and communicate market and competitive intelligence for key product lines.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly market intelligence reports with clear business recommendations.
  • Track global market outlooks, megatrends, and sector-specific developments in the chemical industry.
  • Identify and monitor key indicators impacting future market performance.
  • Maintain and update market and competitive intelligence using internal and external data sources.
  • Lead and coordinate global data-gathering efforts for market intelligence initiatives.
  • Support regional sales and marketing teams through targeted market research and growth opportunity analysis.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for market intelligence tools, processes, and data visualization platforms.
  • Build and maintain a strong global network within the marketing community to stay current on industry developments.
  • Develop and maintain sales enablement tools such as presentations, sales kits, case studies, and joint PR materials.
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to create impactful, customer-facing materials.
  • Manage inbound marketing leads and support lead nurturing and customer engagement activities to drive conversion.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a technical field such as Chemistry, Polymers, or Material Science.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, business development, or market intelligence, preferably within the chemical or polymer industry.

Skills and Knowledge
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and global teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Innovative thinking with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
  • High level of initiative and adaptability to changing business needs.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using market intelligence, data-mining, or interactive data-gathering platforms.
  • Proficiency in IBM Planning Analytics and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with key marketing tools and their practical application.
  • Fluency in additional languages beyond English.
