Job description

Marketing & Communications Manager – The Andover Company, Inc.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Creating and assembling marketing packages, maintaining email marketing communication with the brokerage community, writing and sending company press releases, updating company website, designing/ordering company marketing materials, maintaining company lease and sale comparables databases, maintaining multiple real estate listing sites, and administrative functions as necessary.

This position will require strong computer skills and require excellent fluency with software programs such as: the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint; and Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. This position will also require you to have a positive/energetic attitude; good people skills; a strong work ethic; willingness to learn about the industry; and have use of an automobile. You manage and update the company’s main website using WordPress and utilize SEO to bring more web traffic to the website. The candidate will also act as a liaison between the company and an outside IT vendor, occasionally helping to solve IT problems as necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access proficiencies

· Proficiency with Adobe InDesign software and Adobe Acrobat

· Exceptional people skills, with strong oral and written communication skills

· Proactive, self-motivated, demonstrates initiative and a great “can do” attitude

· Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and proficient problem solving skills

PREFERRED/IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:

· Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop software

· Experience with a website building program, preferably WordPress

· Experience with an email marketing program, preferably Constant Contact

· Social media experience

· Graphic design and photo editing experience

· Experience in Commercial Real Estate a plus
