About the Role: We're seeking a experienced and proactive Corporate Development Associate to join our team. This pivotal role will work closely with the VP of Corporate Development and across leadership to drive strategic initiatives across strategy, M&A, and business development for a rapidly growing organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing cross-functional projects, being able to distill complex business analysis into actionable insights, and working collaboratively with teams to deliver measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy Development: Work directly with senior leadership to support development of market perspectives and creating strategic frameworks to support inorganic and organic growth strategy (industry research, competitive landscaping, market sizing, product analysis, greenfield market development opportunity etc.).
  • Financial and Business Analysis: Leveraged in a multitude of settings including performing holistic due diligence on acquisition targets (financial, market, product, operations, etc.).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between strategy, operations, finance, marketing, and product teams, ensuring seamless communication and strategic alignment.
  • Data-Driven Analysis & Reporting: Use data and analytics to track project performance, develop actionable insights, and communicate progress to key stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with team members at all levels to ensure strategic alignment and efficient execution of initiatives, adjusting communication styles based on the audience.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify challenges within projects, analyze root causes, and develop effective, long-term solutions that support business objectives.
  • Executive-Level Reporting: Preparing executive materials (powerpoint presentations, excel analysis etc.) distilling key data insights and summary conclusions to support senior management and board-level decision making.
Qualifications:
  • BS/BA in Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics or Business. Or equivalent years of experience.
  • Experience: 2-3 years in corporate development, strategy, or operations, ideally within management consulting or industries such as tech, legal, digital marketing, or business development.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong skills in financial and operational analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and at all organizational levels.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects at once, ensuring priorities are handled efficiently.
  • Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze problems from different angles and develop strategic, data-driven solutions to meet both short- and long-term objectives.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in digital marketing, legal/health tech, or corporate development is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Strong Excel knowledge for advanced data analysis.
  • Advanced Presentation Skills: Ability to create compelling presentations for senior leadership and Board-level discussions using PowerPoint or Google Slides.

We expect the compensation for this role to have a range that starts at $80,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
