Who You Are
The Events Coordinator will be responsible for supporting marketing efforts with trade shows and events so FANUC America Corporation achieves successful execution and strong lead performance, industry leading technical content and display, as well as comprehensive evaluation of event effectiveness based on cost, engagement, and attendee numbers for future participation.
The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented, and high-energy individual with proven experience navigating in a fast-paced environment and effectively coordinating, planning, and executing successful events.
How It's Done
  • Manage all aspects of FANUC America Corporation's event program including Corporate Events, Private Show, sales meetings, ASI Events, small regional shows, open houses, customer visits, CERT tours, CRX workshops, HR and employee events, customer events, FANUC visits, etc.
  • Prepare & maintain event schedule and allocate resources to ensure successful event management.
  • Plan, process, and execute events from start to end.
  • Coordinate with all required departments and outside vendors to execute the event including but not limited to logistics, facilities, catering, HR, legal, etc.
  • Book and organize event spaces, meeting rooms, registration badges, housing, catering service, engineering equipment's, etc.
  • Develop display design in 3D, using FANUC Roboguide as needed.
  • Work with other departments to plan thoroughly thought-out tour paths for customers/attendees.
  • Coordinate, prepare and communicate event schedule, customer arrival, and speeches for customer events.
  • Develop staffing schedule and any required pre-show/event training.
  • Manage onsite event setup and actively participate in setup including but not limited to giveaway area setup, customer greeting area, direction signs, placing marketing properties, demo cells, etc.
  • Manage pack up/dismantle of the event.
  • Track all expenses for reconciliation.
  • Explore new technologies, ideas, tools to improve customer experiences at any FANUC Event.
  • Coordinate demo cell availabilities for events and take care of logistics.
  • Coordinate consistency of displays and exhibits at events to promote FAC branding and positioning across all American subsidiaries.
  • Support marketing inventory of booth properties, graphics, accessories, etc.
  • Directly manage all aspects of small shows/events and attend them as required.
  • Support and maintain in-house showroom/customer experience center from marketing aspects.
  • Manage, order, and monitor promotional items for sales and customer events, including looking for vendors, buying, storing, etc.
  • Coordinate shipment and delivery of ASI promotional goods, including lanyards for tradeshows.
  • Process and disseminate event leads.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% to support trade shows and events as necessary.

What You Need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum one year of experience planning and coordinating business events; or equivalent experience.

What Would Be Even Better
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and/or business units.
  • Manufacturing/automotive industry and/or FANUC experience.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP.
