The Role


We're looking for a motivated Marketing Associate to join our growing team and help expand SubSummit's network of DTC subscription and membership brands. In this role, you'll lead outreach to drive ticket sales, identify qualified brands for our Hosted Meeting Program, and collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to convert interest into attendance and participation.


This position is ideal for someone who's energetic, highly organized, and passionate about connecting brands with opportunities that drive growth. You'll be hands-on with prospecting, campaign execution, and CRM management - helping deliver measurable results for the SubSummit team.


Key Responsibilities


  • Conduct targeted outreach to DTC subscription and membership brands to drive ticket sales.
  • Identify, qualify, and invite prospective brands to join SubSummit's Hosted Meeting Program.
  • Build and manage personalized email campaigns and automation sequences that drive engagement and meeting bookings.
  • Collaborate with the team to convert marketing leads into confirmed calls and hosted participants.
  • Research and curate brand lists aligned with SubSummit's audience and sponsor goals.
  • Support cross-team initiatives by conducting market research, validating lists, and maintaining organized data.
  • Ensure CRM data is clean, accurate, and consistently updated to support sales and marketing alignment.
  • Provide onsite support for attendee engagement and logistics support during SubSummit (May 10-16, 2026).


What We're Looking For


  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development (event experience a plus).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to convey value with clarity and confidence.
  • Proven ability to execute outbound campaigns and meet conversion goals.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent time management.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, email automation tools, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator (HubSpot experience a plus).
  • Passion for events, relationship-building, and helping brands grow through meaningful connections.
  • Team player with a proactive mindset and an eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
