Role Description The Marketing Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based at J Resort in Reno, NV. This role supports the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and events that drive guest engagement and brand visibility for the resort and casino. Daily responsibilities include coordinating marketing materials, assisting with digital and print content, tracking campaign performance, and supporting sales initiatives. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure brand consistency across channels, maintain marketing calendars, and help organize resort events and activations. The role also involves administrative support for the marketing department, including reporting, vendor coordination, and maintaining accurate records for marketing projects.

Qualifications

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Implement and conduct all current and upcoming special events, promotions, tournaments as well as all casino marketing activities and programs
  • Resolve any problem or perceived inconvenience to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Coordination of Social Media sites, to include postings and interactions with followers.
  • Provide promotional/event support to marketing staff when necessary, keeping flexible hours based on business needs
  • Assist in hosting of parties to include but not limited to; monthly birthday parties, drawings, holiday parties
  • Assist in the facilitation of casino signage and marketing communication for both inside and outside of the casino
  • Assist in monthly information meetings with other casino departments to ensure proper understanding of all current and upcoming marketing promotions
  • Assist at the Glow Plaza as needed, including but not limited to assisting with signage installation, attending Glow Plaza concert series to aid with guests and band members
  • Assist with VIP Hotel Check-in at J Resort

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
